HOW TO KEEP LUNCH HOT FOR YOUR KIDS(BACK TO SCHOOL TIP)

I struggled for years with keeping my kids lunch hot enough for them to eat so the food does not go bad or become too cold to eat. I have bought countless food flasks with promises of keeping the food hot for 8/12/24 hours but all were to a large extent false promises. Another challenge is that, practically speaking, schools can't possibly spend all day reheating the food of every child, therefore some schools let you know in advance to pack your kids' food in thermos that could keep the food hot for long periods of time. On the other hand some schools don't have microwaves to reheat cold food.

School would resume in a short while and I'm still thinking. .... how i would solve this problem? As usual, i did further research and found a tested method to achieve this. I have done this research to help you mothers out there to cross out one more thing from your multiple to do list. Read
further on how to achieve this in 3 easy steps.

USE A THERMOS. There are good ones out there that can keep food hot for long periods

HEAT UP THE THERMOS: About 10 minutes before you want to put hot food in the food thermos, pour boiling water into the jar and seal the lid.

After 10 minutes, pour out the water and promptly serve your cooked or reheated food into the food jar.Seal the lid.

USE AN INSULATED BAG: This will help keep the food hot for longer periods of time till your kid eats lunch. Buy a good insulated bag that keeps food hot for long periods

POINT TO NOTE: Do not keep cold items side by side with the hot food as this would affect the effectiveness of this method.
